The Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment of Connecticut, has acquired a 30-year license to operate a casino at a massive new real estate development project unfolding on the grounds of the former Hellinikon International Airport in Athens. The company is now up against Hard Rock in a bid to be selected as the company to construct a casino at the site of Athens’ former airport.
